Mirroring or Mocking?
I was reading Mrs. Walsh's blog about how she was trying to make the parent more comfortable by mirroring their actions. I thought it was interesting that mirror and mocking are kind of the same thing but not mirroring is adjusting your self to relate to the other person but mocking is repeating the other persons action the same way they do them.

How neat to make a blog inspired by one of my blog posts :) I think that as long as you keep it looking natural, it is mirroring rather than mocking. Mocking would come across more as you are making fun of the person; mirroring just means you are making both of you look and feel more comfortable.
